Adopt a beehive - a real one, with its own honey

More than a symbolic adoption

Many bee adoption schemes send a certificate and a photo. On Aygepan you own a share of one specific hive on one specific farm: it carries a plaque with your name, you can see it on camera, and its harvest is real honey for you.

Shares go from an eighth of a hive ($120, about 1–2 kg of honey a year once producing) up to a whole hive ($960, about 8–14 kg a year).

How it works

Choose a share: an eighth, a quarter, a half or a whole beehive. Presale prices start at $120 and are 20% below launch prices.

Your share is registered in your name and assigned to a real hive on a partner apiary in Armenia. Design how it looks - hive colour, a plaque with your name, your own jar label and packaging.

Follow your bees through the season in the Aygepan app: a live camera once the hive is placed, monthly photo reports, and a farm you can explore like a game.

At harvest you choose what happens to your honey: ship it to your door anywhere in the world, sell it, or reinvest. A whole hive is estimated at 8–14 kg of honey a year once it is producing.

Who looks after the bees

Experienced beekeepers on our partner apiaries care for every hive. The first 12 months of care are included in the price, so you can enjoy your bees without needing to know anything about beekeeping.
